DALLAS TRAGEDY: MOTEL MANAGER BRUTALLY KILLED BY EMPLOYEE
Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, a 37-year-old Cuban national, fatally attacked his employer, 50-year-old Chandra Nagamallaiah, with a machete following a dispute over a malfunctioning washing machine at a Dallas motel. The horrific incident occurred in the motel office, witnessed by Nagamallaiah’s wife and son. Cobos-Martinez allegedly decapitated Nagamallaiah, then kicked the severed head across the parking lot before discarding it in a dumpster.
Cobos-Martinez had been released by ICE in January due to Cuba’s refusal to accept his deportation, citing his criminal record. His prior offenses include carjacking, assault, and a 2017 arrest for attempting to carjack a woman while unclothed.
