Alderson kept it candid on his Mets tenure, including Eppler as general manager and the phantom injured list that was used. The 76-year-old notably led the Mets to a World Series appearance in 2015 while serving as their general manager during his initial run. The Mets made the playoffs twice during his stint as GM.
