The Bronx had its answer to celebrity-filled Dodgers games on Monday. While Games 1 and 2 of the World Series were veritable gathering of Hollywood glitterati, Yankee Stadium held serve, offering up a whos who of ex-Yankees stars and local rap legends. Hall of Fame manager Joe Torre, pitcher CC Sabathia and hard-hitting outfield Gary Sheffield came to lend their support as did the Captain himself, Derek Jeter, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
