PHILADELPHIA Giancarlo Stanton is officially back. The Yankees activated the slugger off the injured list Monday ahead of a series against the Phillies after he mi sed five weeks with a strained hamstring. The Yankees need that to be different this season as the middle of their order has taken a hit without him, though they have seen encouraging signs of late from Austin Wells, Gleyber Torres and Alex Verdugo, in addition to landing Jazz Chisholm Jr. from the Marlins. Jones, who was out of minor league options, had been with the Yankees since Opening Day but only played sparingly off the bench.
