  • NEW: Royal Caribbean cruise staff stuffed a passenger in a fridge and refused to return to port after he was served 33 drinks, according to a new lawsuit.

35-year-old Michael Virgil died on a cruise after allegedly being served 33 drinks & being injected with a sedative.

Virgil was seen ramming a door after getting off on the wrong floor when he was searching for his room, hours after the ship left the port.

The father from California was eventually taken to the ground, injected with a sedative, Haloperidol, and sprayed with multiple cans of pepper spray, according to the lawsuit.

Virgil's fiancée, Connie Aguilar, alleges that the cruise refused to return to the port following the incident and put his body in a refrigerator.

"They put Michael in a refrigerator and continued the cruise for multiple days," she claims.

Virgil passed away from "significant hypoxia and impaired ventilation, respiratory failure, cardiovascular instability and ultimately cardiopulmonary arrest," the lawsuit says.
