REPORT: Pew Research reports that 1.5 million immigrants have left the United States since President Trump took office, marking the first decline in the U.S. immigrant population in decades, according to Axios.
Axios noted, "In January, the foreign-born population reached a record high of 53.3 million, fueled by an increase during the Biden administration." By June, this number dropped to 51.9 million.
The decline is largely attributed to self-deportations, following President Trump’s executive order in May that initiated a self-deportation program. (Video available below)
