Authorities have released footage of a brutal, unprovoked attack in Charlotte, North Carolina, where a Ukrainian refugee was fatally stabbed in the throat by a career criminal.
The incident, described as deeply tragic, occurred on the Charlotte light rail. Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old who fled Ukraine to escape war and start anew, was killed by 34-year-old Decarlos Brown Jr., an individual with a 15-year history of repeated incarcerations.
